State Societies
The Daughters of the Revolution 1776 is organized through a General Society and chartered State Societies. The General Society provides national leadership, preserves the Society's mission and standards, and supports the growth of the organization. State Societies serve as the official representatives of the Society within their respective states, fostering membership, establishing local chapters, and promoting the principles of patriotism, education, historical preservation, and service.
Current Chartered State Societies
Additional State Societies are being re-organized and chartered as the Society continues to grow across the nation.
The Louisiana Society proudly serves as the first State Society established in Louisiana under the revived Daughters of the Revolution 1776.
The Tennessee Society is leading the revival of Daughters of the Revolution 1776, restoring the Society's historic mission of honoring the Patriots who secured American independence.
